Three laps. Four cars. And a corner arriving a little sooner than expected. Corner Cutters brings classic arcade racing to iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV: close battles from above, slippery ice, tight bends and that last chance to sneak past before the finish line.
How to playPreparing for launch on the App Store.
Choose your car, learn the track and find your rhythm. A good braking point can be worth more than full throttle.
Enter your driver name, pick a car colour and choose an unlocked track. Select Easy, Medium, Hard or Expert.
Hold the throttle on the straights. Lift off or brake before tight corners, turn in and accelerate out. More speed means a wider turning circle, so plan your line.
Take on your rivals, chase a faster time and reach the finish. Completing a race unlocks the next track in the series you have access to. Any finishing position counts.
Steer with the on-screen left and right buttons. Hold THROTTLE to accelerate and BRAKE to slow down. Release the throttle to coast. Play in portrait or landscape.
With a compatible game controller, steer using the left stick or directional pad. Accelerate with the right trigger (RT/R2) and brake with the left (LT/L2). A/× also accelerates and B/○ brakes with the default mapping.
In menus, use the left stick or directional pad, the confirm button to select and the back button to return. Custom button mappings may change these controls.
Motor Park and Texas Ring are included in the free version. Three optional track packs add ten tracks each through one-time purchases. Tracks in each pack open as you finish races. The price is shown in the app before you buy.

Forests, canyons, desert sand, cherry blossoms and Alpine passes line the way. Ten tracks for drivers who love variety and learning how each surface feels.

Take a detour from the ordinary. Race among craters in Moon Base, along the stormy coast of Storm Point and past glowing lava in Volcano Run. These ten tracks also take in mines, palm trees, steelworks, tulip fields, savanna, northern lights and a winding river. Same little car, far more unusual destinations.

Ten extra twisty, challenging tracks for anyone who has found the brake pedal and wants to put it to work. Tackle the switchbacks of Serpentine Ridge, the ice of Glacier Knots and the final challenge, Black Mamba. Hairpins and back-to-back bends test your patience as much as your racing line.
Turn up Nightlights, Ignite, Fighting fire, 70’s Drive or Blacktop Blue. Nine songs come with the game across five radio stations. The small stereo button also lets you mute all sound.
Races work offline. Progress and local records are saved on your device. Game Center and purchases require an internet connection; global leaderboards are being prepared for launch. Record tables apply to single-player mode.
